With the festival of Diwali just around the corner, it’s time for shoppers go all the way to treat themselves and their loved ones with goodies that have long been sitting on their wishlists. And if the original Moto G was on your mind, Flipkart has relaunched the original Moto G on its website, which was pulled out last month to make way for Moto G 2nd generation.
The older Moto G is now available for Rs 9,999, down from Rs 11,999 price. The Moto E has also got a price drop and is now available for Rs 6,299. As with all the latest Motorola phones, the offer is available exclusively on Flipkart.
The original Moto G was one of the best mid-range smartphones of last year that won wide acclaim globally for what it had to offer at the budget price. As far detailed specs go, the Moto G has a 4.5 inch-screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass. The processor is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2 GHz, the RAM is 1GB, total storage is 16GB, the rear camera is 5 megapixels, while the front camera is 1.3 megapixels. The rear camera can shoot videos at 720p / 30fps.
It runs stock Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Note that the phone will also receive the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
The 4.3-inch Moto E runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core SoC and 1GB of RAM. It has 4 GB total memory space. The rear camera is 5 megapixels and the smartphone is a dual-SIM device.In our tests, it was found to be snappy enough for basic uses and is overall an all-encompassing smartphone for beginners. The Moto E runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, but will get the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update soon.
