The newest entrant into the Indian budget mobile space is Sunstrike Telecom, a Hong-Kong-based company. Sunstrike has launched its new budget phone dubbed Rage Swift for a price of Rs 2,999. This entry-level smartphone runs Android KitKat and comes with support for 3G. Looking at the price and specs, it probably aims at offering budget users a swift transition from feature phones to smartphones.

The device sports a 3.5-inch qHD display with a pixel density of 315ppi. This dual-SIM smartphone comes with very basic camera abilities. It is fitted with a 1.3MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. One can expect support for 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. All of this is fuelled by a 1600mAh battery. However, details like its processor, RAM and storage capacity are still unknown.

Chanpreet Singh, managing director, Sunstrike, said, “Rage Swift has all the trendy features, and it runs on KitKat, the latest Android version, & yet we have kept our product very affordable for everyone. This is our gift to all the brothers and sisters who will celebrate this pious festival. We are quite optimistic that Swift will receive a tremendous response from customers.”

The phone comes dipped in black colour and the company also bundles a crystal cover free with the handset.
