Infinix Note 12 Series Officially Launched in India with MediaTek Helio Processors

Infinix has released two new smartphones in India today, the Note 12 and Note 12 Turbo, as part of its Note 12 series. The smartphones are low-cost options with amazing specs and features, such as an AMOLED display, huge batteries, and gaming-focused MediaTek chipsets. Let’s investigate further.

Key Specifications and Features of the Infinix Note 12 Series

Except for the processor, storage, and a few other small differences, the Inifinix Note 12 and Note 12 Turbo are nearly identical. Both versions use dynamic RAM, which takes advantage of unused ROM to improve multitasking performance.

In addition, the Note 12 and Note 12 Turbo have the same 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a teardrop notch with a 16MP front lens. Both smartphones include a triple camera arrangement on the back, with a 50MP main lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an AI lens.

However, things are a little different under the hood. The Note 12 Turbo is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 gaming processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but the vanilla edition is powered by a lower-end MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both variants include a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Furthermore, the Note 12 Turbo has a 10-layer graphene thermal system, whilst the ordinary Note 12 has a 6-layer solution.

Things are the same in the battery department as well. Both variants come with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W rapid charging. Aside from that, there’s a dual-speaker system with DTS compatibility, MediaTek’s Hyper Engine 2.0 gaming suite, and a fingerprint sensor on the side.

The higher-tier Note 12 Turbo comes in three colours – Force Black, Snowfall, and Sapphire Blue – and runs XOS 10.6 based on Android 12. The Note 12, on the other hand, will ship with XOS 10 based on Android 11 and will be available in Jewel Blue, Force Black, and Sunset Golden colour options. Furthermore, the products are packaged in a Dr Strange: Multiverse of Madness-themed box.

Price and Availability

The Infinix Note 12 will be available in two variants: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. The base model costs Rs 11,999, while the higher-storage variant costs Rs 12,999. The Note 12 Turbo, on the other hand, is available in a single 8GB + 128GB configuration for Rs 14,999.

Both Infinix Note 12 smartphones will be available only on Flipkart. Although the corporation is currently keeping the selling date under wraps.
