Moto G42 launched in India: After late last month’s announcement, Motorola today officially introduced the Moto G42 in India. AMOLED display, Dolby Atmos speakers, 50MP triple cameras, and other features are among the device’s charms. It was only introduced in Brazil last month.
Details and Features of the Moto G42
The Moto G42, which replaces the Moto G41, has a similar appearance. It has a top-center punch-hole display at the front and a vertical triple-camera module at the back. The smartphone has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, support for a standard 60Hz refresh rate, and a DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The punch-hole cutout at the front contains a 16MP selfie camera. A 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor make up the triple camera arrangement on the rear of the Moto G42.
The Snapdragon 680 CPU powers the smartphone, which is combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The integrated microSD card allows for storage expansion of up to 1TB. Inside the gadget is a 5,000mAh battery with 20W rapid charging capabilities.
Aside from these, the Moto G42 has twin stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio socket, Face Unlock, NFC, and a USB-C connector for charging and data transmission. Furthermore, the gadget is water-resistant to IP52 standards. It runs a near-stock version of Android 12 and will be upgradeable to Android 13. It is available in two colour options: Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose.

In terms of pricing, the Moto G42 is available in India for Rs 13,999. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart beginning July 11. People may get it for Rs 12,999 owing to a Rs 1,000 immediate discount on SBI Bank cards. In addition, purchasers may save up to Rs 2,000 on Jio recharges and Rs 549 on ZEE5 yearly subscriptions.
