Galaxy S23 Series: When Samsung released the Galaxy S22 series with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in countries (like India) where Exynos power is often used, it made a significant adjustment. The fact that the forthcoming Galaxy S23 series will solely be powered by a Snapdragon processor, eliminating the Exynos SoCs, confirms that this transition will continue.
Exynos SoCs are not available for the Galaxy S23 Series!
This modification is the outcome of a multi-year agreement between Samsung and Qualcomm that will take effect in 2023. It will apply to future Samsung Galaxy Premium Gadgets, beginning with the Galaxy S23 series, which will be released in early 2023. It will also be expanded to PCs, tablets, virtual reality, and other devices.
During the firm’s recent earnings call, Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon also stated that the Brand has engaged in a seven-year renewal of its patent license arrangement with Samsung, which will cover 3G, 4G, 5G, and even 6G technologies.
According to reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets were used in around 75% of the Galaxy S22 series, and this percentage will be raised further next year. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, which is scheduled to be released in November, is slated to power the Galaxy S23 phones.

Amon stated in answer to an analyst, “The way you should think about it is Snapdragon will power their Galaxy product line, their Galaxy flagship products. And what I can say at this point is we were 75% on Galaxy S22 before the agreement. You should be thinking about we’re going to be much better than that on Galaxy S23 and beyond.“
Many people who have long desired a Galaxy S phone with a Snapdragon chipset, which wasn’t the case in India and many other areas, are likely to be thrilled with this news. In comparison to phones equipped with Exynos SoCs, the new phones are anticipated to be more effective and performance-focused.
You should be aware that Samsung is still considering launching the new Exynos 2300 chipset, but it’s still unclear how the company will use it.
