OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro Android 13 Update: It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the OnePlus 10 Pro. But now, it’s finally getting Android 13 with the stable OxygenOS 13 update. The OnePlus 9 series also got an open beta version last year. Still, they both have a stable Android 13 upgrade available in India and globally.
OnePlus Releases Stable Android 13 Update for its Series 9 Smartphones
In the past few months, OnePlus has released OxygenOS 13 updates for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro in India, Europe, and North America. Anyone who signed up for the open beta program will get an update to Oxygen OS 13 before it’s released to the general public.
Although users on the OnePlus Forums are not a part of the open beta program, they have revealed that they are getting the update. All those who own a OnePlus 9 or 9 Pro will receive the stable Android 13 update in the coming days.
OxygenOS-13 is an incremental update that brings in the Aquamorphic Design theme colors and a more visually pleasing UI experience. It also offers optimized UI layers, improved font, and a home screen world clock widget. Other notable Android OS changes are animated rotation, gestures on the launcher, and better biometric scanning processes.
The update includes many exciting new features, security, and privacy. With Pixelation, sensitive information outside a screenshot will be blurred out, so you can share your screenshots with confidence that your data is protected. There are also some Android 13 features added to the update, including per-app language and updated Material You Theme.
OxygenOS version 13 is based on Android version 13 and has a size of 5.5GB. For best performance, the update requires stable Wi-Fi and a 30% battery for installation. It’s also worth noting that if you have yet to receive the update, it should be rolling out to you soon. If you have the update, please comment below, letting us know how it went!
