Get ready for Poco’s latest mid-range smartphone, the Poco X5 Pro, launching in India and globally on February 6 at 5:30 PM. The X5 Pro is set to replace last year’s Poco X4 Pro 5G. Here’s a little glimpse of what to expect.
Poco X5 Pro Launch in India
Poco has announced that the Poco X5 Pro will debut in India on February 6, with a simultaneous global launch. Along with the X5 Pro, Poco will also introduce the Poco X5 5G. The launch event will feature brand ambassador, cricketer Hardik Pandya, showcasing the new device.
The phone is expected to feature a flat-edged design and rectangular camera hump, similar to the Redmi Note 12 series. Reports suggest that Poco X5 Pro could be the new version of Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition, with Poco’s signature yellow color seen in teasers. More color options are likely to be available at the launch.
Confirmed specs include a triple rear camera setup with a 108MP primary camera, a Snapdragon 778G chipset, and a 120Hz AMOLED display. The X5 Pro will be available through Flipkart, and a dedicated microsite is already live.
Other details, such as a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, are expected to be revealed at launch. On the other hand, It is said that Poco X5 5G will be rebranded as Redmi Note 12 5G, with a possible Snapdragon 695 SoC, 48MP cameras, and 33W fast charging.
