Xiaomi fans in India, the wait is over! The latest version of the MIUI skin, MIUI 14, has finally arrived in the country. And the good news is several Xiaomi, and Redmi phones are eligible for the upgrade. Here’s a complete list of the devices that will receive the update based on Android 13, along with their release schedule.
Excitingly, the flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro has already started receiving the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update, while the new Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with the latest MIUI 14 out of the box. However, for other Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones, the MIUI 14 rollout will begin in Q1 2023 and continue until Q3 2023.

The MIUI 14 update is much lighter and more user-friendly than its predecessors. With a smaller size of just 13GB, 4GB less than MIUI 13, it ensures that apps take up less space and compress the less-used ones automatically. The notifications can also be easily removed now.
Besides, the update includes Smart ROM Optimization and several UI changes like bigger and tabular icons, new widgets, and wallpapers, providing a cleaner and more personalized home screen experience based on the new card-style design.
Furthermore, the update offers on-device text recognition and some India-specific camera changes like the voice shutter, the ability to remove lines and shadows from images, and more.
