As Samsung recently launched the Galaxy A14 5G globally and then in India, Samsung has now quietly launched its 4G counterpart. The Galaxy A14 4G looks similar to the 5G model but has some under-the-hood differences.
Samsung Galaxy A14 4G: Features and Details
It comes in black, silver, green, and dark red colour options and has the same 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display but supports a 60Hz refresh rate rather than 90Hz.
With a 50MP primary camera, 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 13MP selfie camera, you can expect features like portrait mode, HDR, and more.
A new chipset also appears on the Galaxy A14 4G. The device features a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC (despite not mentioning its name on the website) paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additional RAM can be added up to 6GB using RAM Plus. Additionally, a memory card can be used to expand the storage up to 1TB.
With a 5,000mAh battery on board, the A14 4G can be charged at 10W. In the 5G version, charging can be done at 15W, though the charging speed is disappointing. On top of that, it runs One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13. Additionally, there is a fingerprint scanner on the side, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
