Currently, the Play Store listing of the handset stands at Rs 28,999 for the 16GB model, while the 32GB variant will set users back Rs 32,999. The official store still says that the model will be “coming soon” although earlier reports have hinted at the device coming to the market by the end of November.
The Nexus 5 was last seen popping up on online retailer iBhejo, which is selling the 16GB version for Rs 31,807. As the device is being sourced from the US, the estimated delivery time stands at 7-15 days, although there is still no word on how many models the site has in stock.
A quick look at the specification sheet of the Nexus 5 shows that the handset packs a 5-inch Full HD display, sporting a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 445ppi, and protected by Corning Glass 3. Under the hood, the device comes with a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.
While the device weighs in at a light 130 grams, the most important part of the show is the latest version of Android, 4.4 KitKat, which brings a host of improvements.
