Wuthering Waves, the story-rich open-world action RPG, had a rocky start, with players encountering performance issues across multiple platforms. However, Kuro Games has diligently addressed bugs and problems since the launch, generously compensating players for their patience. In their latest developer update, Kuro Games sheds light on the upcoming Wuthering Waves update roadmap, including the early release of new characters: Yinlin, Jinhsi, and Changli.

According to the recent dev update, Yinlin’s release is happening sooner than expected. Yinlin and her companion story “Solitary Path” will debut on June 6 at 10:00 AM (UTC+8). Additionally, this update will introduce the Alloy Smelt event and several other spin-off events and features.

Version 1.1 Release Date

Kuro Games is also planning to roll out Wuthering Waves version 1.1 ahead of schedule. The anticipated update is set to launch on June 28. The version will conclude at 05:59 AM (UTC+8) on June 28, followed by a maintenance break to prepare for the version 1.1 release.

Radiant Tides and Forging Tides Rewards

Among the bug fixes and future content updates, Wuthering Waves rewards players with 10x Radiant Tides and 5x Forging Tides. These rewards compensate for the five-star weapon description errors and overall performance issues in version 1.0.

  • Radiant Tides can be used to summon featured characters.
  • Forging Tides allows players to pull featured weapons from their respective Limited Convenes.

Notable Fixes and Changes

Here’s a summary of the bug fixes and adjustments mentioned in the recent dev update:

  1. Echo Development Grind (1.0):
    • Launched a limited-time Echo material double yield event in version 1.0.
  2. Echo Development Grind (1.1):
    • Reduced the Shell Credit costs of Echo development.
    • Removed the reward cutscene of the Tacet Field.
    • Increased Echo and development material yield.
    • Introduced residual Waveplate storage.
  3. Recycling Developed Echoes Bug:
    • Fixed the issue and compensated players with Shell Credits.
  4. Five-Star Weapon Description Errors:
    • Fixed the errors and sent out compensation.
