Asus ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro with Snapdragon 888+ and 144Hz Display are now Launched in India.
Asus has Launched the new ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro in India. The phones, which were debuted last year, are in addition to the country’s current ROG Phone 5. The ROG Phone 5s series, which has a design identical to the ROG Phone 5, comes with last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC, a 144Hz display, AeroActive Cooler 5 for thermal management, and more.
Specs and Features for the ROG Phone 5s Pro
The Samsung E4 AMOLED display on the ROG Phone 5s Pro is 6.78-inch Full HD+. 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and Always-on HDR are all supported by the panel. On the back, there’s a secondary Matrix p-AMOLED display for alerts, GIFs, and other information.
Along with an overclocked version of last year’s Snapdragon 888 CPU, the phone has up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Three sensors are housed in the back camera department: a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. A selfie camera with a resolution of 24MP is located on the front of the device. It has 8K video recording, Pro video mode, slow-motion videos, and other camera functions.
It has ultrasonic AirTrigger sensors, an AeroActive Cooler 5 heat management system, and a GameFX audio system, as befits a gaming phone. It also sports an in-display fingerprint scanner, symmetrical 7-magnet dual front-facing speakers, sub-6GHz 5G networks, a 3,5mm audio connector, and other features.
The ROG Phone 5s Pro is powered by a dual-cell 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging capability and runs Android 11 with ROG UI on top, which includes the Armoury Crate App, the Game Genie overlay, the AudioWizard app, and other features for a better gaming experience.
ROG Phone 5s: Specs and Features
The ROG Phone 5s is a significantly less powerful version of the ROG Phone 5s Pro. Although it has the same display as the 5s Pro, it lacks the extra back display. Instead, it features the RGB-based ROG logo on the rear, similar to the ROG Phone 5. It also lacks the two touch sensors seen on the 5s Pro. The processor, RAM+storage combinations, battery size, cameras, and other features remain unchanged from the Pro model.

Starting February 18, the ROG Phone 5s series will be available exclusively through Flipkart. While the Pro model is only available in Phantom Black, the ROG Phone 5S is available in Phantom Black and Storm White.
