After the success of last month’s Diablo 4 Server Slam open beta, Blizzard Entertainment has announced a surprise ‘Server Slam’ beta for next month, which will provide players with a chance to try out the game. The official release will be set for June 6.
Diablo 4 ‘Server Slam’ Beta: Details
The beta will occur on May 12 and 13, with pre-loading available from May 10 for all platforms. Players can expect to experience Act 1 of the game, explore the first zone called Fractured Peaks, try out the game’s five classes, level up to level 20, and participate in main quests, dungeons, and side quests.
The beta will feature the world boss Ashava, who appears every three hours on the map. Players can band together with others worldwide and take the boss down. The final spawn for the boss will take place on May 14 at 9 am PDT.
Diablo 4’s Server Slam open beta will reflect Blizzard’s adjustments to the characters after the first beta. Diablo 4 will not carry forward any progress from this beta.
Blizzard will give everyone various rewards to incentivize players to try out the beta, including an initial Casualty title, an Early Voyager title, a Beta Wolf Pack cosmetic item, and a Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy.
To download the beta, players can search “Diablo 4 Server Slam” on the store and download it from May 10, 12 pm PDT.
In conclusion, Diablo 4’s upcoming open beta promises to be an exciting opportunity for players to try out the game and experience new content before its official launch. With the inclusion of more content, balanced characters, and rewards for playing, fans of the Diablo series will have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks.
