Pixel 6a Details

The Google Pixel 6a features the same design as its flagship Pixel 6 siblings, as you may already be aware. The front of the phone has a punch-hole selfie camera in the middle, a dual-tone color scheme, and a camera visor that spans its whole width. The rear panel is plastic, but the frame is still metal, much like the Pixel 6.

In comparison to the 90Hz refresh rate enabled by the Pixel 6 series, the Pixel 6a’s 6.1-inch Full-HD+ OLED display has a conventional 60Hz refresh rate. A 2400 x 1080p resolution, HDR, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection are all supported by the panel.

The Pixel 6a’s first-generation Tensor chipset, which is built on a 5nm technology node, is its key selling point. Aside from that, the chipset has four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz, two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.25 GHz, and two Cortex-X1 cores clocked at 2.80 GHz. Along with the Titan M2 security processor and compatibility for SA/NSA 5G, you also get 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage.

In comparison to the Pixel 6, the Pixel 6a’s cameras are less advanced. There are two cameras: a 12.2MP primary camera with OIS and a 12MP secondary camera for taking ultra-wide photos. An 8MP selfie camera is housed in the front punch hole.

A 4,410mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging powers the Smartphone. Although it will be among the first smartphones to receive the Android 13 update, the Pixel 6a ships with Android 12. Google guarantees to provide the Pixel 6a with at least 3 significant Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates.

Furthermore, Wi-Fi 6/ 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, dual speakers, USB Type-C, dual-SIM compatibility, IP67 water and dust resistance, and an in-display fingerprint reader are supported. Google has also introduced the Pixel Buds Pro in India for Rs 19,990, with the Pixel 6a. They will be available for purchase on Flipkart beginning July 28.

The Google Pixel 6a will be offered in India in a single 6GB+128GB option for Rs 43,999. However, as part of a limited-time deal, you may enjoy a Rs 4,000 immediate discount on Axis Bank credit cards and EMI transactions.
