Get ready, Pixel fans! The highly anticipated Google I/O 2023 event is approaching, and we have some exciting hardware news to share. Rumors are swirling about the upcoming Pixel series, including the Pixel 7a, Pixel tablet, Pixel Fold, and most notably, the Pixel 8 series. And guess what? The first-ever leaked images of the Google Pixel 8 Pro are finally here, and they are stunning!
Google Pixel 8 Pro: Details
Thanks to a collaboration between notorious tipster OnLeaks and Smartprix, we now have a sneak peek of what the Pixel 8 Pro could look like. One major change is the oval-shaped setup for the three rear cameras, which are now encased together rather than placed separately.Â
And that’s not all! The Pixel 8 Pro is also said to feature a fourth camera placed beneath the LED flash. We can’t confirm if this is a macro or depth camera, but we’re excited to find out!
The design of the Pixel 8 Pro is also getting a makeover, with rounded corners that will give it a sleek and modern feel. And although the screen won’t be curved, the rounded corners will make an impact. Speaking of the screen, the Pixel 8 Pro is said to have a 6.52-inch display, which is slightly smaller than the Pixel 7 Pro. The phone is predicted to be 162.6mm long, 76.5mm wide, and 8.7mm deep.
But wait, there’s more! The Pixel 8 series is rumored to be powered by the next-gen Tensor G3 chipset, bringing AI improvements to the phone. And, of course, there will also be upgrades to the camera and battery. The team here at Google is quite excited to see what the future holds for them.
Unfortunately, we still have to wait until the I/O 2023 event for more concrete details on the upcoming Pixel series. But don’t worry. We promise to keep you informed of any developments. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on the leaked Pixel 8 Pro design in the comments below.
