The method for resetting Apple’s AirPods Max headphones is somewhat different.
If you’re having trouble with your AirPods Max, consider rebooting them. Make sure they’re charged for a few minutes before you start.
After that, here’s how to reactivate your AirPods Max:
- As the LED flashes amber, press and hold the noise reduction button and the Digital Crown (both on the top of the headphones). On the bottom of the headset, there is a status light.
If that doesn’t succeed, consider resetting them to their factory default settings. This will allow them to disconnect from your iCloud account and revert to their factory default settings.
To reset a pair of AirPods Max headphones, follow these steps:
- For 15 seconds, press and keep the noise reduction button and the Digital Crown together before the LED flashes amber and then white.
- Link your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac to them again.
