The new iPhones are expected to improve in many ways each year, and this year should not be different. There has been recent news about a bump in RAM on the upcoming iPhone 15 series, which could reach 8GB. Check out the details below.
RAM improvements are coming to the iPhone 15!
Apple will increase the size and specifications of the DRAM solutions on the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup, according to a report by TrendForce. The A17 Bionic chipset could result in improved performance and significantly improved multitasking capabilities of the new iPhones.
There is no word on what number we will be looking at. However, since the iPhone 14 series has increased its RAM capacity to 6GB, we shouldn’t be surprised to see 8GB of RAM on the 2023 models. According to a previous report, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will have 8GB of RAM, whereas the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will have 6GB.
It remains to be seen. The same fate was predicted for the current iPhone 14 Pro models, but it never came to pass.
The recently released first renders of the iPhone 15 Pro will have thinner bezels, a larger rear camera hump, and rounded edges. In addition, the USB Type-C port is a major change that will allow Apple to comply with EU laws that aim to standardize USB-C, which will be a first for the company. There may, however, be differences between the standard and pro models in terms of capabilities.
There will also be improvements to the camera (possibly a periscopic lens for the Pro models), Dynamic Island on all models, and much more with the iPhone 15 series. As we wait for the launch, we must keep our eyes open for all the exciting rumours and leaks.
