The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus finally made their way to the Indian market today. The phones are available for purchase across 24 cities in India through Apple Premium Resellers, multi-brand retail stores and online retail stores.
Here’s a look at the buyers who are some of the first ones to get their hands on Apple’s latest smartphones in India. In Mumbai, the iPhone 6 is available at Maple in Bandra and at High Street Phoenix in Lower Parel.

Apple has received over 21,000 pre-orders since it was released on October 8 in India. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is available for Rs. 53,500 for the 16GB version, Rs. 62,500 for the 64GB version, and Rs. 71,500 for the 128GB version. The 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus has been priced at Rs. 62,500 for the 16GB version, Rs. 71,500 for the 64GB version, and Rs. 80,500 for the 128GB version.
Apple is said to have shipped 50,000-55,000 units of the iPhone 6 to make sure there’s no shortage of phones during the shopping weekend.
