LG has announced two new UltraGear OLED gaming monitors ahead of CES 2023. The 27-inch model and the 45-inch variant both feature 240Hz OLED displays, which are the world’s first.
New LG UltraGear Monitors: Details
LG’s newest Monitor, the UltraGear 45-inch display (MNO: 45GR95QE) with a curved screen and WQHD resolution, has a customizable viewing angle. Plus, it supports HDR10 and an anti-glare screen. With a response time of 0.03ms GTG, the new Monitor includes a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut to provide rich colors and deep blacks for any picture or video content.
This 45-inch Monitor also has DisplayPort and HDMI 2.1 ports for connectivity and a USB 3.0 port for peripherals. In addition to its size, this LG monitor features DTS Headphone:X technology, which delivers hi-resolution surround sound over headphones. The display can pivot up to 90 degrees and includes a remote control in the box. The Monitor also won the CES 2023 Innovation Award in the display category.
The 27-inch Monitor (MNO: 27GR95QE) is a flat OLED display with a QHD screen resolution. Like the 45-inch Monitor, the 27-inch Monitor also comes with HDR10 and 0.03ms GTG response times.
This Monitor has the same set of connectivity options as the P27-Inch Monitor, as well as support for a remote controller. One difference is that the 27-inch Monitor doesn’t include an adjustable stand; however, it does pivot.
