LG OLED Flex Bendable Smart TV: In advance of IFA 2022, LG unveiled the new LG OLED Flex Bendable foldable TV, which boasts the first-ever (according to the manufacturer) 42-inch OLED bending screen.
LG OLED Flex Details and Features
The 42-inch OLED display on the LG OLED Flex can be curved up to 900R and allows users to adjust the viewing angle to suit their preferences. The dedicated button on the remote control allows users to select between two preset modes while altering the curvature. Additionally, the display has an adjustable stand and can be angled 10 degrees upwards and 5 degrees downwards.
The display employs backlight-free self-lit OLED technology, resulting in improved contrast, deeper blacks, and great colour accuracy. It boasts a 0.1 millisecond reaction time and supports Dolby Vision. The screen boasts a super anti-reflection (SAR) coating and is flicker-free and glare-free.
There are several features available to meet people’s gaming demands. The size of the onscreen picture can be changed depending on the content and game being played. Features like HDMI 2.1, gaming at 4K 120Hz, variable refresh rate (VRR), and auto low latency mode (ALLM) are there too.
The LG OLED Flex includes a dedicated Game app that enables customizable screensavers, quick access to popular games, and more. There is support for LG’s Gaming Optimizer for sound adjustments based on the game being played. Another feature is the Multi-Watch mode, which allows individuals to view many pieces of material at the same time.
Furthermore, the new OLED Flex TV has the Switching Hub function, which lets you use the TV’s inbuilt mic (with echo cancellation capability) and connected peripherals with a PC via HDMI cable. The source switching button on the side of the TV’s stand will also make switching between the PC and the OLED Flex easier.
A customizable lighting feature, Dolby Atmos, G-SYNC Compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium Certification, two front-firing 40W speakers, and more are all included with the TV.
