Micromax has launched the fourth variant for its Canvas Doodle series – Canvas Doodle 4 – at rs 9,499. It is also available on e-commerce website eBay at a price of Rs 9,199. A few days back, Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom claimed that the handset was available for purchase in India at a price of Rs 9,499.
In terms of specifications, the Canvas Doodle 4 features a 6-inch IPS display with a 540 x 960 pixel resolution. However, according to the specifications listed on Mahesh Telecom, the resolution offered is 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB RAM. The device offers an internal storage at 8GB but no information has been provided about an expandable storage slot.
The Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 comes equipped with an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. It also includes light, gravity, and proximity sensors. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop is powered by a 3000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the Dual-SIM device comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS but no 4G support.
Similar to the previous Doodle series smartphones, this one is expected to include a stylus as well, but there is no confirmation as of now.
