Motorola has unveiled the new Moto G72 in India as part of its G-series. For less than Rs 20,000, the phone comes with Helio G99 SoC, 108MP cameras, 120Hz display, and other features.
Moto G72 Details
Unlike previous Moto G phones, the Moto G72 features a rear camera setup similar to the Redmi Note 11 lineup. The high-quality acrylic glass (PMMA) finish is on the back for a modern look. Meteorite Gray and Polar Blue are available.
The phone features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ pOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 576Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and 10 billion colors. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor. As I said before, this gadget is powered by the same Helio G99 processor as the Poco M5. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space and can be further expanded with a memory card.
The three rear cameras include a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide/depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. A 16 MP selfie camera is also included. Dual capture, portrait mode, night vision, slow motion video, and other camera features are included.
The Moto G72 comes with a 5000mAh battery and a 33W charger. The phone is running a near-stock version of Android 12 and will receive 1 major update (Android 13) and 3 security patches.
It is worth noting that 5G is not included. Other features include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Face Unlock, and IP52 water resistance. It includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio port, dual SIM and other connectivity options.
