Motorola has recently launched the Moto X40 in China and is likely to bring it to global markets with the name Edge 40 Pro (in the US, it may be called the Motorola Edge+ 2023). A new report provides details on the expected pricing, configuration, and color of this flagship device that succeeds the Motorola Edge 30 Pro which was released in India in February 2022. The features of the Edge 40 Pro are reportedly similar to that of the Moto X40.

There will be only one configuration of the Edge 40 Pro available globally, according to a report by Appuals. The price of this Motorola smartphone is expected to be 850 Euros (around ₹75,000). It is expected to come in black and blue colors. The Moto X40 was launched in China in four versions.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro: Details
It is believed that Edge 40 Pro is a rebranded version of the Moto X40, so it should offer similar specifications as the latter model. This Motorola smartphone may come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chip, which could feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and HDR10+ support.
The Edge 40 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera with optical image stabilization, just like the Moto X40. The Edge 40 Pro is also expected to feature a 60-megapixel front-facing camera housed in a hole-punch slot that is positioned centrally. A 4,600mAh battery is expected to be included with the smartphone, which can support 125W wireless fast charging as well as 15W reverse charging.
Edge 40 Pro may run on Android 13-based MyUI 5.0. It may also borrow the 11-layer cooling system from the Moto X40. This smartphone may be dual-SIM and support 5G and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity.
