While everything will go official on its 20 June global launch, new high quality images of the OnePlus 5’s cases and retail box have surfaced which confirms the placement of the phone’s rear dual camera placement.
The lastest images by Lockednet confirm the design of the OnePlus flagship, reinstating how similar it looks to Apple’s iPhone 7 plus. The new images also suggest that the button placement on the phone will be as it was on the OnePlus 3 and 3T, including the forward-placed fingerprint scanner.
The pictures which reveal the original OnePlus branded cases also reveal the retail packaging in which the cases will be sold. With the company’s tagline for the OnePlus 5 being ‘Focus on what matters’, the same is spotted across the paperwork seen in the retail box.
So far the company has confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will come with the top of the line, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Along with this we should also get a dual rear camera setup for which OnePlus had teamed up with DXOMark. The various images shared by the company CEO Pete Lau also suggest that rear cameras would pack in a 16 MP sensor. The phone will also see a 8 GB RAM variant with 128 GB of storage.
The company will launch the device in India on the 22 June, two days after the global release. OnePlus India will also hold pop-up events in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad for users to get an early hand-on experience.
