Oppo Find X5 Series Officially Launched Globally With Hasselblad Cameras

Oppo Find X5 Series Launched: The Oppo Find X5 Series with Hasselblad Cameras has been released globally.

Following a series of teases and leaks, Oppo has launched its flagship Find X5 series internationally. The Find X5 and Find X5 Pro are part of the range. The Find X5 Pro receives the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, whilst the Find X5 receives last year’s chipset. Both phones have placed their hopes on cameras, with the inclusion of the company’s recently launched MarSilicon X image technology and Hasselblad branding. Here’s all you need to know about Oppo’s new Find X5 series.

Oppo Find X5 Pro Specifications and Features

The Oppo Find X5 Pro continues the popular trend of large camera housings, but with a twist. The back camera hump has a distinct amoeba-like structure that protrudes slightly. Oppo, on the other hand, claims to have drawn design inspiration from space travel. The rear panel has a ceramic finish and comes in black and white.

Let’s talk cameras. This is the place that may reasonably be regarded as the Find X5 PRo’s highlight. There are three rear cameras: a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera (also with a Sony IMX766 sensor) with a 110-degree field of view (not as wide as the OnePlus 10 Pro’s 150-degree lens), and a 13MP telephoto lens with up to 20x digital zoom. The front camera, which is incorporated in the display’s punch-hole cutout, has a Sony IMX709 sensor for 60% more light.

For high-quality pictures, the MariSiliconX chipset features an NPU, ISP, and multi-tier memory architecture. Better low-light photography, real-time RAW processing, up to 20x quicker 4K AI performance, AI Noise Reduction, and more are all supported. Cinematic mode, Hasselblad’s Natural Color Calibration (as on the OnePlus 9 and 10 Pro), 4K Ultra Night Video, and more are all supported.

A 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED WQHD+ display is included on the Find X5 Pro. It boasts a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus for protection and supports HDR10+, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, 8,192-level Bionic Dimming, and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as previously reported.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro boasts a dual-cell 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro, and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging to handle all of the chores with the aforementioned high-end specifications. In case of the phone overheats, there’s also a multi-tier Turbo cooling mechanism. ColorOS 12.1 is built on Android 12 and boasts a cleaner and more organised UI, Omoji compatibility (which is uncannily similar to Memoji), improved privacy features, and more. On top of that, there is a slew of new Android 12 features.

Oppo has also partnered with Google to provide features such as offline Nearby Share, Fast Pair compatibility, and improved audio-related functions (which will be available shortly). In addition, the Find X5 phones employ 95% less plastic and 45% biodegradable materials to be environmentally friendly. It also has IP68 water resistance, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, and other features.

Oppo Find X5 Specifications and Features

The Find X5 is the younger brother of the Find X5 Pro, and it has the identical design as the latter, except for a projecting rear camera hump and a ceramic backplate.

The smaller 6.5-inch AMOLED display on the Find X5 supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a unique processor, the Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform. The phone has 8GB RAM and a 256GB storage capacity.

The camera and battery are identical to those found in the Pro model. The multi-tier cooling system is also supported. It does, however, offer 30W wireless charging.

Availability and Price
