Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched the mid-range smartphone – Mirror 3 – which has been priced at Rs 16,990 in India.
Commenting on the new launch, Mr. Tom Lu, CEO, Oppo Mobiles India said that, “The smartphone technology is constantly evolving. We are excited to introduce Mirror 3 to our picture-loving Indian customers. It comes with phenomenal camera quality.”
The smartphone features a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and is powered with a 1.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. It is coupled with a 1GB RAM. Specially crafted for the Mirror 3, is an ergonomic arc at the back, allowing the mobile phone to fit naturally into the palm of the user’s hand.
The Oppo Mirror 3 is powered by Android 4.4-based Color OS 2.0.1. It sports an 8MP rear camera with Sony IMX179 Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensor, with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Oppo Mirror 3 has an inbuilt storage of 8GB and can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The phone has an infrared port that works with Oppo’s Smart Remote Technology 2.0 to support transfer protocols for remote control of various home appliances with infrared protocol, including televisions and air conditioners.
The phone is powered by a 2,000mAh battery and the company adds that with the 5V-2A charger, the Oppo Mirror 3 can be charged to full power within just 90 minutes. The phone measures 137.6 x 68.8 x 8.95 mm and weighs 126 grams.
