Poco M4 Pro 5G Launched in India: Poco M4 Pro 5G with Dimensity 810 SoC and 50MP Cameras is now available in India.
Poco has unveiled the Poco M4 Pro 5G launched in India today, after formally teasing the smartphone earlier this month. It is the successor to last year’s Poco M3 Pro 5G, which was released late last year in the global market. The Poco M4 Pro 5G has already arrived in the Indian market. Before we go into the price and availability, let’s go through the important characteristics and features.
Features and Specifications of the Poco M4 Pro 5G
We already know most of the main specs and features because Poco introduced the M4 Pro 5G in the worldwide market in November 2021. Starting with the design, the smartphone resembles the Chinese model of the Redmi Note 11, which was released in December 2021, except for a big camera island on the back with a Poco logo.
At the rear, the Poco M4 Pro 5G has a dual-camera configuration with a 50MP primary lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field of view. The gadget has a 16MP punch-hole selfie camera on the front. A 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate can be found on the front. The display boasts a resolution of 2400 x 1080p, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a DCI-P3 colour gamut, as well as adaptive refresh rate adjustment (50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz).
The MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which is a 6nm-based octa-core CPU, lies at the heart of the Poco M4 Pro 5G. It’s a substantial improvement over the Dimensity 700 5G SoC found in the M3 Pro 5G, and it gives the M4 Pro 5G a performance bump. Up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage are supported by the chipset. There’s also a new Turbo RAM option, which allows you to use internal storage as extra RAM.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the gadget, which supports 33W rapid charging. Other features include 5G network connectivity on both SIM cards (supports 7 5G bands), a USB-C connector, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-stereo speakers, and a fingerprint scanner on the side. It ships with MIUI 12.5 for Poco, which is based on Android 11 and, as revealed at the ceremony, will be updated to MIUI 13 very shortly.

In terms of availability, the smartphone would be sold solely on Flipkart in India. It will come in three colourways: Power Black, Cool Blue, and Poco Yellow.
