The Realme GT Neo 2 with Snapdragon 870 is now available in India, with a starting price of Rs. 31,999.
Realme isn’t slowing down and is preparing to unveil another smartphone. In August of this year, the Chinese company debuted the Realme GT 5G series in India, and the Realme GT Neo 2 was released today. Around three weeks ago, this smartphone was originally unveiled in China.

The Realme GT Neo 2 sits between the GT and the GT Master Edition, providing premium features such as a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 870 5G, 64MP camera system, and 65W fast charging. Let’s have a look at the full list of specifications:
Specifications of the Realme GT Neo 2
This phone has the same luxurious and striking appearance as the rest of the Realme lineup. On the front, you’ll find a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has a resolution of 2400 x 1080p, a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits, HDR10+ compatibility, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Realme GT Neo 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G processor, as compared to the MediaTek 1200 chipset that powered the original GT Neo. The processor is paired with up to 12GB of RAM (expandable to 19GB through Dynamic virtual RAM extension) and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage (no microSD card slot). The phone comes pre-installed with Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11. However, Realme UI 3.0 will be available in the following weeks.
The cooling system has to be one of the GT Neo 2’s best features. As previously stated, the gadget’s internal 8-layer, 3D heat dissipation technology is meant to keep the tablet cool while doing intensive tasks like gaming or video editing. The cooling system on the GT Neo 2 uses a unique diamond thermal gel and has the “largest stainless-steel vapor cooling area in Realme history.” according to Realme.
When it comes to the cameras, the GT Neo 2 has a triple camera system on the back. It has a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It has gyro-EIS and can record video at up to 4K at 60 frames per second. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera with a punch-hole.
Finally, there’s the issue of battery life and connection to consider. This smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery (which is bigger than its predecessor’s 4,500mAh battery) and supports 65W rapid charging. To complete out the connectivity choices, the Realme GT Neo 2 has dual speakers, a USB-C connector for charging, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1. However, it does not include the 3.5mm headphone port included on the original GT Neo.
