Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 10 will be launching in India on March 17th.
Xiaomi isn’t done with smartphone launches in India. Following the debut of the Redmi Note 11 Pro series, the business is now focusing on the Redmi 10 series from last year. Xiaomi has now confirmed that the Redmi 10 will be available in India on March 17. The phone will join the Redmi 10 Prime, India’s rebranded version of the Redmi 10.
The Redmi 10 will arrive in India Next Week
The Redmi 10 will be available in India on March 17, most likely through an online event. One can’t tell because Xiaomi had a physical event for the Note 11 Pro earlier this week. The business has teased a little information about the future smartphone, implying that it would prioritise the cameras, display, and battery backup on a budget.
The Redmi 10 will have a unique design with a smudge-free rear surface, according to the Redmi 10 web page. It also has a fingerprint scanner built within a square-shaped camera bump (much like the Realme Narzo 50A). After a succession of phones with a side-mounted sensor, this seems fresh. As shown in the official tweet below, Redmi has also confirmed the presence of a waterdrop notched display. This is in contrast to the Redmi 10 Prime, which debuted with a punch-hole screen and a camera arrangement similar to the Redmi Note 10.

It has also confirmed that the Redmi 10 Prime would include a 50MP primary AI camera. In addition, the Redmi 10 will be powered by a 6nm Snapdragon CPU, as opposed to the Prime edition’s MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. However, there is no news on which SoC will power the Redmi 10.
A large display and battery, as well as ultra-quick storage and rapid charging capabilities, are among the other features. In India, the smartphone is estimated to cost between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000, similar to its predecessor, the Redmi 9, and even the Redmi 10 Prime.
The Redmi 10 Prime, as previously stated, features a 90Hz display, a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, a large 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, 50MP quad cameras, expandable RAM, and more. It’s unclear what additional features the Redmi 10 will have. Stay tuned for additional information in the coming days.
