During the Samsung Forum event in Kuala Lumpur, the company launched its Galaxy A5 (2016) priced at Rs 29,400 and the Galaxy A7 (2016) priced at Rs 33,400 in India. The devices will be available via Snapdeal starting February 15.
In terms of display, the Samsung Galaxy A5 features a 5.2-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by the Exynos 7580 SoC with a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, it includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
It comes equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, OIS, autofocus and LED flash along with a 5MP front facing camera. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, ANT+, USB 2.0 and NFC. The Samsung Galaxy A5 houses a 2900mAh battery.
