It’s March 28th, and right on schedule, the Galaxy S5 has gone up for pre-order across all major retailers and carriers in the UK. The phone can be pre-ordered from Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u, Amazon, O2, Vodafone, Three and EE – all of them will be stocking the black, white, blue and gold versions and start shipping orders by April 11 (April 18 if you go with Amazon), the day of the phone’s global launch, though most only have the white and black models available for pre-ordering at the moment. The SIM-free price ranges from £559.95 to £600 depending on where you buy it from, and as usual, you have your usual monthly plans that won’t cost you an arm and leg in

upfront cost.
EE and Phones 4u are also giving away some freebies with the Galaxy S5 if you opt for their 4G plans – the former is offering free return flights from airports across the UK, while the latter is continuing its recent tradition of giving away a free Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 tablet and £50 in Google Play credit for the first 1,000 pre-orders.
