Vivo announced the new high-end Vivo X90 series in China, including three models with the main highlights in their SOCs. The Vivo X90 pro+ is the eldest and has its highlight in the form of its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Instead of simply announcing it to the world, here’s a complete rundown of what makes this smartphone great!

Designed to stand out, the Vivo X90 Pro+ has an enormous circular camera hump at the back. Whether inspired by a rising sun or looks cool, this handset has been designed to be premium. The new ZEISS branding on all the cameras will give you features like Zeiss Flare Portrait and Zeiss T*coating that capture memories with exemplary clarity and detail. There’s also the new V2 chip-on-board with an AI-centric HDR system and more improvements.
With improved durability and premium design, the X90 Pro+ has a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary camera for 77% increased photosensitive area, a 114° F2.2 48MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP portrait lens with a 50mm focal length, and 64MP periscope lens. The front snapper stands at 32MP. The device supports 8K videos at 30fps, Zeiss Cinematic style bokeh, and more features.
Vivo is known for making phones with high-end specs, and the new Vivo X90 Pro+ is no different. With a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, Adreno 740 GPU, and up to 12GB of RAM, the X90 Pro+ has become the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone. The front panel is equipped with a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED 2K LTPO 4.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits of peak brightness, while the Dolby Vision feature is also included.
This smartphone features a 4,700mAh battery with 80W of wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. It runs on Android 13 and has 5G connectivity, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and twin Icefield Cooling. And it comes in China Red and Original Black colors.
