With the rumor of Xiaomi launching the Xiaomi 13 phone soon, people are already looking for more solid details about it. It can be challenging to find that information. Here’s what we have found out so far.
Xiaomi 13 Camera and Specs: Rumors
Digital Chat Station, a popular tipster, has predicted that the Xiaomi 13 series will come with Leica-backed cameras. The Mi 13 phones will come with a Leica telephoto lens. The 13 Pro is expected to feature what Digital Chat Station predicts could be a 1-inch sensor for the primary camera. The previous leak also hinted at a 50MP snapper with what could be a Sony IMX8 or an IMX989 from Sony, and much like the previously mentioned leak, it had a Sony sensor.
Multiple rumors have surfaced that the next flagship smartphone from Xiaomi, the Mi 13 series, will sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. We’ve also been told that this may be the only one to get it. It’s also possible that MIUI 14 OS based on Android 13 would go live within the same release window in tandem with its release.
The Xiaomi 13 is expected to come in a gorgeous 2K display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 120W fast charge. The series will include the Xiaomi 13 and the 13 Pro. The recently leaked retail box image shows that the Mi 13 might be called the Mi 14. There needs to be a way of knowing what Xiaomi has planned regarding naming conventions.
Recent renders of the rumored device point to a flat-edge design and flat displays. They also say it will be similar to the recently released iPhone X in design, particularly with its primary rear camera hump. All models are expected to get the same design.
