The Xiaomi Redmi K50 Series has been confirmed to launch soon; pricing information has also been leaked.
Xiaomi has been expected to debut the Redmi K50 series for some time, but there have been no verified details about its release. Redmi’s general manager, Lei Weibing, has now stated that the Redmi K50 series will arrive in China shortly, maybe this month. Here are the specifics.

Lu Weibing previewed the launch of the Redmi K50 series in a Weibo post. The Redmi K50, K50 Pro, K50 Pro+, and K50 Gaming Edition are slated to be part of the series, which will follow the Redmi K40 range. The teaser does not provide a release date. However, it is expected to be released before February 25.

We’ve heard a lot of rumours in the past about what to expect. The standard Redmi K50 model is expected to be in the mid-range segment, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU and 67W fast charging capabilities.
On the other hand, the K50 Pro and K50 Pro+ are rumoured to be powered by a MediaTek SoC, most likely the Dimensity 8000 and 9000, respectively. Both are supposed to be capable of 120W quick charging. A Redmi K50 Gaming Edition might also be released, which would be powered by Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform and have 120W fast charging capabilities.
All four versions are likely to have an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and run Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.
A recent rumour speculated on the pricing of the Redmi K50 series. The Redmi K50 is expected to be priced at CNY 1,999 (about Rs 23,000), the Redmi K50 Pro at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 31,800), and the Redmi K50 Pro+ at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 33,800). (around Rs 38,900). CNY 3,499 could be the starting price for the Redmi K5O Gaming Edition (around Rs 41,000).
